Quality AssuranceLast update : 24/10/2012
The CIC-P works according to the regulations: the Declaration of Helsinki, European directives, French legislation in force and good clinical practices.
The CIC-P is governed by its own procedures and the CHU’s.
To ensure it produces quality work, a quality assurance department has been created. It ensures the correct application of these regulations and procedures.
The quality assurance department has been the responsibility of Prof. Zannad from the beginning and involves writing and revising procedures, and staff training in these areas through various means (meetings, preparing brochures, revision sessions). Furthermore, the application and respect of the procedures are controlled by signing a commitment to read the procedures, carrying out internal audits and through knowledge control sessions.
It is also the CIC-P’s priority to train staff in the resulting regulatory modifications and practical changes.
Every member of the CIC-P is therefore responsible at their level for guaranteeing that their activity complies with a quality assurance approach thus ensuring that the CIC-P is working towards developing studies of maximum scientific quality.
